I was a student for thirteen years at Athens College, Greece. I graduated in 1995 after completing a 4-year Lykeion.
From 1995 until 1999 I read Mathematics at the University of Oxford where I graduated with a M.Math.
There I was a member of St. John's College.
At Brown University I earned an Sc.M. (2002) and a Ph.D. (2006), both in Applied Mathematics.
There I was a student at the Division of Applied Mathematics.
My doctoral advisors were Prof. George Karniadakis and Prof. Bruce Caswell.
For one year I was a post-doctoral associate working with the Sea Grant program at MIT and the Division of Applied Mathematics at Brown University.
I served in the Armored Vehicles Corps, Hellenic Army (2007).
I have worked as an Investment Analyst for Dolphin Capital Partners as well as the Head of the Development Division, Financial Services of the Church of Greece.
I have co-founded and direct a company called AutoMetis. It deals with fully-automated strategies in the Foreign Exchange market, based on quantitative financial models.
For four years I served as the president of the Oxford University Alumni Society of Greece.
Sometimes I write in rot13.
